VOLUNTEERS
Sharpen skills.
Forge friendships.
Leave a legacy!
Pass on your know-how, pick up a new ‘why’!
There are many ways to support the Bendix Academy mission to help build new generations of toolmen. One of the most valuable is your gift of time! We value *YOU* and sincerely appreciate time you share with us. There are several avenues to volunteer:
Become a Mentor: Be the Spark That Ignites a Lifetime of Learning
At Bendix Academy, volunteers are the heartbeat of our mission. Whether you’re guiding a student through a first lesson with a wrench, organizing behind-the-scenes logistics, or sharing stories from a lifetime of hands-on experience, your time makes a lasting impact. Our mentors pass on the toolmanship, problem-solving, and life skills that today’s young people often don’t receive at home or in school. And while students gain confidence and know-how, volunteers often discover something just as meaningful: new friendships, renewed purpose, and the joy of leaving a legacy.
Read about Bendix Academy mentors in the “Mentor’s Measure” column of our quarterly newsletter, Toolmen Times.
